| I don't imagine we will make too many changes next year I can see 3/4 at the most. Providing they are in the right areas then I think we can really push on. Even though it's an area I think we can improve I don't see us making any changes to the halves. I think it will be prop and centre where we look to strengthen.
I just hope this inspires the fans to start coming back, that's the only realy negative at the moment for AP, I think he had hoped numbers would be increasing quicker than they are.

| Very interesting and exciting times ahead !
Signings already in the bag, Aussie already sounded out and confident of bringing in proven young SL players from other clubs.
AP is "certain that we will have a real top ranking team for next season" !!
I'll drink to that

We were told recently that neither O'Meley nor Moa are in PG's plans for next season. I can also see us releasing Martin, Turner, Burnett and Aspinwall. That's six gone.
It sounds like we already have some young SL players targetted and in some cases "in the bag". Maybe a couple of good young forwards who will be cheaper than Moa and O'Meley? Although they'll have to be quality ones.
I can see us spending a large chunk on an Aussie centre who is probably the player that PG "has already sounded out".

If he maintains his current form it would be a mistake to release Turner IMO. Agree with you about the others going though.

| Think there could be big things ahead. The signing of Ellis will certainly make the rest of the RL world sit up and take notice. What with Gentle, McRae and now ellis on board it will certainly make hull a big draw for other top players.
The guy is a leader and talisman and could really be a catalyst for something special, reminds me a little of when Bunting brought Knocker to the club, a real coup at the time and the start of many years of success, happy days

Not sure, attacking he looks decent, but defence still needs loads of work.
He will be on decent money also as Salford wanted to keep him so they would have offered him good money and we would have beat that.
With Ellis signing and maybe other players coming in some will be sacrificed.
At the moment i would say let go and his place as backup centre be Crooks.

I would keep Turner (if he continues this form) as backup centre/backrower.
So, 2013 I'd go with:
Centre: Yeamo + New Centre. Crooks & Turner as backup. Martin to leave.
Back Row: Ellis, Manu, Westerman, Whiting, Turner. Aspinwall & Burnett to leave, Tickle to prop.
If we isolated the salary cap for these two positions, it would mean: IN: Ellis & New Centre. OUT: Martin, Burnett, Aspinwall & Tickle (to prop).

Congrats to FC on a fine signing who will do very well for you. That said, pity you had to spoil it all by mentioning wendyball.

If we could do that with out it infringing on our cap space to recruit the prop(s) and centre we need he may be worth keeping. Although I don't expect Turner to be on a massive wage I don't think he'll be on a small one either though, so we may be better off with Cunningham and Crooks as backup.
