the local rag in york 'the press' have a story claiming that the knights are in talks with thackray.it also says he is 'good mates' with glen reid,who is having a 4 week trial with the club,and that this may swing things! they claim that thacks trained with york last week.(i am trying to get in touch with my mate who is close to the club to ask him).

been told this morning that york have defo asked thacks if he is prepared to join them(sponsor help lined up),but he has not trained with them as yet.they are optimistic,that they can get him tho',as other,bigger clubs,are yet to offer him a deal,
