Bureta looked pretty good last night and looked strong in defence too, like the look of him and his style of running over players rather than around them. Think once he gets settled and gets a run of game he will be serious threat.

He looked like a Nrl player last night, 100 % effort with every carry and tackle , needs to rub off on to some of the rest of the team. Really lacking the intensity needed to beat the top teams , hopefully find it by Thursday !

I've seen some comments about our pack last night, but I thought they provided us with good go forward and put us in good positions, just last tackle plays and silly offloads let us down.

Biggest issues for me was our discipline and our ability to stop the offload, which kept them in the game.

imo taylor paea Houghton and green where good, washy and Bowden ok, downs imo just isn't big enough although gives 100%, masi was strong when he came on, but we defo missing our back 3,

Agree I've not seen anything to suggest Downs is good enough to play at SL level.

Back three would make a massive difference, Mini go forward and the defence of Hadley and Manu.

I don't think we are far off, in a decent position, despite not playing well this season, next three games could define our season.
