Tbh, at the moment I wouldn't mind seeing Whiting at FB and Phelps on the right wing.

If Phelps is fit I would rather him at FB, Whiting never lets us down but his lack of pace can be a problem. That way Whiting can replace either Lyne or Turner depending on if Gleeson is back next week.

Any win away from home can only be good for the team. We need a good run of wins before we also expect them to play with style. Seems some people are never satisfied - win or lose. Lets face facts, we are not good enough to make the top four. Well done today lads!

All that needs to be said IMO. First half pretty good and looked capable of scoring whenever we got the ball. Last 45 minutes (up to our final try) was spent cursing and sulking. I know I've given him his own thread, but thought Yeamo put in some really telling hits today at important points. Our left is as good as our right is average though. Hope Phelps and Gleeson are back soon.

Don't agree with you on that I'm sad to say. Hudds, Wigan, Wire, Saints and even Leeds are all better than us and by a big gap especially the first four I mentioned.

Bring in Brett Seymour and a Maguire-esque coach and we'd be up there.

Better squad than last season. Far less injuries. A coach with another year under his belt.

But we both know that we're not going to bring in a top coach don't we. We still seem lazy in defence were as Hudds work for each other hell of alot more and were also slow in attack, and far too predictable. Teams like Wigan make attacking look easy when spreading the ball about but do it well.

Yes, but my point is that (imho) we have the squad, but we are greatly underachieving.
I would even dare to believe that if ‘today’ we brought in a top coach, we could still have a very good chance at getting silverware this season.

For me we need a top coach, who will bring in a complete new attacking structure that is the main thing we need imo.

Good these radios that you can actually see the game.......He made 1 mistake and gave them a repeat set where he dropped a ball that Bulls passed to him and they scored off the back off....he also did 1 hell of a barnstorming run to set up position for yeamans try and actually had a decent game.

I thought he had a decent game overall, probably one of his better ones for us but he's still on his way
