Maybe a better option as an Interim DOR than going for Myler giving the club time to really do their homework

Strange that he unfollowed the club on social media. You can understand Hoy doing it out of anger at being sacked but if Brown's split is amicable why do it ?

Think he was also annoyed and frustrating with the clumber, maybe Smith, Pearson alluded to that in his interview, think the illness and pull from partner was the final straw.
Who are these people sitting in social media to see who unfollows and follows the club?

Surprised we can't get a doctor to sign off his injury as career ending so he can get an insurance payout and everyone is happy. Like they did with Talanoa.

We all have our thoughts on Myler as DOR and it may work or not but why don’t you try backing him and see how he goes.Radlinski got some stick at the beginning of his reign at Wigan and what contacts did he have apart from the Wigan name….Blease at Salford..what contacts did he have down under as he was a average player and Kirkpatrick at Wire gets some right stick off their fans and look at their recruitment….all the above 3 were novices in the role and I’d say Myler had a better career than Blease and Kirkpatrick so may have good contacts.

| Sao's doing a signing session next week so I doubt the club would send him to do that if he was off.

Presume that’s signing cheques to pay the several fines he’s clocked up this season, as opposed to autographs.
Not the greatest PR move by the club. Would have thought Sao would have wanted to keep a low profile after laughing his head off straight after being thrashed and sin binned twice v Huddersfield.

Didn't Tony Smith give Tex Hoy his marching orders last week only to receive his own later in the week? Never underestimate what this club can do!

| Good post at the weekend from Brown, also been told he didn't take any severance payment from the club, seems a really good person, hope it works out for him, just the wrong time for both him and the club.

| Brown was always the one behind the sticks giving encouragement I noticed (especially to the younger players).
Seems like a good individual.
Shame it didn’t work out and good luck to him.

| Good on Brown for his attitude on leaving, but after watching him in almost every appearance, he was never the answer for our future hooking vacancy, occasionally ran, occasionally tackled, virtually no influence on our go forward, which you need from a nine, and especially a quota nine/halfback.
But as I said, total respect for his response to leaving us, he seems a nice guy.

| How refreshing to see someone in our game and in the circumstances he finds himself in responding as he did, he was never the answer to our problems since we had so many it's doubtful anyone would be! But it shows a lot of style for me and I wish him good luck.
