No big works on the undersoil heating this year so two weeks should be enough for a relay. We will play on a sandy looking pitch for a few weeks while it takes hold anyway as normal. KC stadium all the way.

Its not two weeks. Rod Stewart is there on the 14th and the games start from the Thursday 23rd, so assuming the work gets underway on the Wednesday after Rod, that leaves from 9 days, not enough grass growth and more sand. Our next home match after the CC is July 8th which would have given just over 3 weeks which is suitable. |

Nothing official yet, but I hear Hull FC are hopeful of playing their Cup quarter-final at the KC and have no intention of moving the game. |

Agree that the whole thing is a farce though. Not sure why "City" need to sort the pitch again this soon. Looks perfectly OK to me even with a season of football on it. |
