It's odd how when we beat teams who've had a short turn around, the bashers say that's the reason why we won.

I dare you to find a solitary post that states we've won a game solely due to the opposition having a shorter turnaround as 'the reason' (as you've stated).
It's odd because the the so called 'bashers' as you describe them are not so blind as to think any single reason weighs on its own so much to impact the resultant, clearly you do.
The Widnes home game was discussed with regard their turnaround and that they'd rested a fair few players, it had effected them for sure but did anyone say that was the only reason we won, please out these posts from the 'bashers'

Very nervous about this game, we're on a hiding to nothing. As said elsewhere this is a season defining game and a must win. Having said that we always seem to struggle at Wakey, really hope the new boys coming in can see us over the line. Going to be pretty hot on them terraces.

Its forecast to rain in Wakefield around the half time mark. It's a good job that we have solid game plan to call upon when it rains.

We should do it short turn around or not. Wakefield are very poor. The signings they've made are poor players in reality. Their new coach is old and past it although he was great for us. Come on lads rip them a new one. I'd prefer that this post does not come back to haunt me.

You may well win, but of all the games this season, the fans are feeling more confident right now than at any other time. Signs are good at the moment for Wakefield.
Of course you are still favourites given your and our form to date, but I think you'll have to be on your game. If you take it for granted, Wakefield are desperate for a win and will jump on everything they can get tomorrow.

Wakefield have already shown at Catalan there is a big improvement in the team.They were in the game for 70 mins at 14 to 12.
In the short time he has been there that has to be down to Brian Smith.
He is certainly not old and past it.Would welcome him back as our coach in a flash.
