I wasn't being specific about this signing, just saying it's less of a gamble to give a known existing squad member an extension than it is to sign someone new. |

As Standee says giving a player of that age a contract extension is a lot different to signing one from the other side of the world. I'm not saying he's a bad signing, I'm saying he's a gamble. |

Its as safe as your gonna manage. 251apperances in a comp that only has 20odd games and is more physical is some record for the style of player he is!

Not unhappy with this. Good solid pro who will help the younger lads develop and will give us a bit of grunt too.
Any player can get injured as stonesy says so technically any signing is a gamble. No problem with Minicheddars on that score.
More importantly though, if his brother is the Count, is he Oscar? Elmo?
