I would also add, IF Darryl Powell was offered to swap our playing personnel for Castleford's players.
he would take our squad in a heartbeat., our players have a lot more calibre than Cas.

Because I think Sneyd, Shenton, Clarke are all much, much better than their counterparts in the Hull team. Add in Dorn who is a good standard SL full back (as good as Shaul is at the moment - probably better in the modern day playmaking role of a FB although Shaul will improve) and Ellis who although has shortcomings in his game can smack the ball miles with his left boot and there are two more who have some skills we're missing. Up front we have Lynch who IMO Gentle ruined at Hull by removing the captaincy from him but has played more consistently better than any of our props together with Huby whom Hudds think is good enough for them and I'm already up to half the team that I very much doubt Powell would swap with equivalent Hull players. Then there's a highly accomplished goal kicker (and underrated winger) in Dixon and Carney who whilst having slightly less impact this season would easily get in our side and you have just some of the reasons why I was -1.

This season has been veey poor,

This season has been very poor, but last season was just as bad imo, we reached the CC final but it was a very hard final to take in, we was nilled in what others describe as the worst final ever, & the play offs defeat at hudds was the worst game i have ever seen an FC team play in, so i would rather not make the 8 or the cup finals just tp go & be embarresed like that, i want to see FC make all our home games hard for any team to come & play in, but at the same time be a good game to watch, rather then just 5 drives & a poor kick, & pick up the points on the road what are winnable at the time given the fielded squad.

But there were times last season when we played quite well.

Leeds (H), Catalans and Warrington in the cup spring to mind.

This season i can't think of one game, other than perhaps Huddersfield at home, where we played anywhere near that standard.

I agree. I'd throw Warrington away in as another good performance by us last season. And we've had a couple of stinkers this year that could rival the CC final and the Hudds playoff (Widnes and Wigan at home spring to mind).

They was very good games, especially the semi final, but nothing to back it up with, no consistency, but thats what makes the games good i suppose when we get a good win as we never see/ saw them coming.

This would be very good to see. We can but dream.
