Me too. I really want the kid to come good and I hope this will help him find some form. He could make the difference at the end of the season.

to work along side the players...if half backs thinks something isn't working then its best to say. which he should do. if I get told to do something by my boss and think it would work better a different way, I'd say.

when organising, you're supposed to be barking out orders, pointing players where to be, you see this with all the top half backs

If those players were well drilled they wouldn't need someone barking orders at them. Are you really suggesting its upto Miller to tell all the players to run good lines with intent so that he has options on every PTB?

Wigan do it automatically, they are so well drilled, they could do it blind folded.-in all 3 grades.

not every play, but if he wants runners, he should shout for runners. even at u16 level we used to work on several plays and shout code words out when we were getting ready to try them, with half backs point players in the direction, as a general should do.

I like miller and really want him to progress and become a great player, so don't think this is me having a pop at him, because its not. but half backs should be saying what they want in the game if they want to lead a team around the park

I've seen Miller barking out orders (I'm assuming it's orders as obviously I cant hear him) plenty of times. The runners just don't seem well drilled enough to actually cause the opposition problems. The timing or positioning just seems to be off far too often and it's not a problem that only happens when Miller plays either.
