Remember also the huge injury list that Peter Gentle had to contend with.14 players injured at one point plus losing Ellis for a long period didn't help.

last season we had "gentle out" and "westerman out"(gives away penalties and misses tackles) 2 years ago it was horne who was past his sell by date now its crooks,crookes,miller,carvell,tuson,yeoman etc if we signed jonathon thurston people would still complain. we all said we wanted a coach who was open about players playing badly and who would drop players who didnt perform now we moan about not having a settled side. with shaul, lineman,crooks rankin,miller,green,bowdon,cunningham,hadley,bobby t-wilson,harry t-wilson, dean,turgit etc and players like houghton,westerman,watts etc in the 20s the future looks rosy. hulls fickle fans dont want a coach they want a fairy godmother
