I got told by a friend of radfords,that 'he got the nod for the job a while back' which I find utterly bizarre,it must have been really difficult if that's true to work under those circumstances,I feel sorry for the guy,if that's true.I hope AP knows what he is doing and comes out and tells the fans exactly what's happening/going to happen.

Top bloke who on balance probably had to go, but we'll only know next year at this time if its the right call. I like the way he went about his business but obviously some of the players didn't!

If that's true then he needs to watch his back because those that got PG the sack will be sharpening thair knives if he does'nt perform a cull on the culprits.

Feel sorry for Peter Gentle, he's been let down by the players and his own coaching staff and paid the ultimate price. I hope those who let him down so badly(including our rumoured coach to be) enjoyed their weekend on the lash whilst the guy and his family were packing their cases. A Huge step backwards if Radford gets the job and I won't be renewing my pass after 21 years of being a pass holder. All the best to Peter and his family for the future.

Really disappointed for Gentle, personally I would have given him the start of next year.

I really hope he gets another job in the NRL as an assistant as thats were I feel his best skills are.

Taken this from the HDM website who seem pretty convinced it is Radford. Whether that turns out to be true or not I think the Mail has got this spot on. The next coach has to find a way to rid us of this inconsistency that seems to have blighted us for years.

I feel exactly the same.

Peter Gentle will ultimately end up with another coaching job where hopefully the players will be a hell of a lot more committed, skillful and professional than some of the deadwood he's had to deal with here.

Radford should have followed PG out the door not be considered as his replacement!! #notoradford

In the 50 years I've supported the club I find this one of, if not the most baffling decisions ever. I sincerely hope I'm proved wrong and will glady eat humble pie if we do kick on from here but I honestly doubt we will. So..........

I've shat better than this lot

Many of us stood in the away end at Headingley full of excitement and expectation for the season ahead.
Sadly wasn't to be.
Like Peter but maybe a head coach, he isn't meant to be?
His team have thrown in some really dire performances this season.

Onwards and upwards.
Whoever takes over the reins next gets my full backing.
