Has anyone actually claimed to "know" who is being signed? (Apart from Jake which i took as slightly mischievous rather than fact) isn't this a discussion about possible signings? You know the thing this board is partly for.

Morley - Monaghan - Wood is also older than Carvell - Houghton - Lynch as a front row, so age shouldn't be a massive concern.

Although he'll be another year older, this is a damn good point. If he is signing I'd offer a year with the possibility of an extension after that

I'm not going to name names but there some on here who regularly claim to "know" something when in fact they're just starting a rumour. I don't lose any sleep over their postings and you shouldn't lose any over mine.

Forwards (particularly props) tend to get better later in their careers than other positions so age shouldn't be too much of an issue. Isn't Menzies 40 next year?

Apparently he is with us for next pre season (on pay etc) but has no full contract. Like a trial I've heard and if he proves his worth he might get a deal. I've seen a couple of Donnie games and heard a lot from him. Has potential but heard he's the mind of player that can be lazy but when he is up for it he can be a top player! Donnie are on PremierSports and online streams tonight so lets see how he goes, that's if he's playing.
