That's how it appeared to me as well. He has been trying hard enough in the previous games but was obviously struggling at times, getting back slowly and looking a bit short on pace. The rest from the week off looks to have done him a world of good so hopefully its back to his brilliant best for the rest of the season.

What made his performance that much better is that he was playing against TWBW (according to Leeds fans and Eddie Hemmings, but no one else)

the more we start to creep up the league table, win big games and look like we might challenge for trophies the more likely players like Briscoe will stay. Some players out there are only motivated by money and that won't ever change...but there are also a lot of players who would accept slightly less pay to be part of a winning squad in a 'happy' team. Gareth Ellis for example is reported to have turned down more money to come to Hull, but the attraction of playing for a respected coach and a team that has ambitions to be in the top4 each year has sealed the deal.

TB's straight line speed has looked sharper in the last couple of games, and he's looked a bit happier too. Very pleased to see one of our big game players hitting great form

He was clearly carrying a few knocks earlier in the season but in the last few games has been back to his best. That 2nd try was Briscoe all over, it's not the first time we've seen him do that to defenders and it certainly won't be the last. I agree with a previous poster who said that there's not another SL winger who could have scored that 2nd try. The lads quality.

He will probably go to Oz at the end of his contract and i've no doubt whatsoever that he will have a good career there.

Excellent performance. Good to see him back to his attacking best and being a threat all night. As bad as it got under Agar Briscoe, and his moments of individual brilliance, was one of the few things that made parting with cash a bit more bearable. Still got loads of improvement in him (notably defence and support play for me) and a shame we probably won't see all his potential fulfilled at Hull but he deserves the chance to move to Oz if it comes about.

If form is temporary and class is permanent, as you're all saying, and Tom is "world class", as you're all saying - Where has he been all season? out of form?

One good game doesn't make a world class player, goes missing too often. Where was he for Leeds first try?
