Did you actually see his comments? This is way beyond some "dodgy email or text", it's racial hatred.

I can't see him lasting much longer to be honest, as you say there's a cumulative element to it all and with the RFLs attempts to clean things up it will make his position at rovers more and more untenable. I think it is a shame
If I'm honest, not for him personally (who I cannot stand) but because he is a genuinely passionate player who gives all and is an asset on the pitch, but cannot match his on field attributes with a decent off field persona. I'm not saying all players are angels (far from it, it sort of makes them the personalities they are to compete how they do) but there are limits and even if the most recent allegations are not proven he has demonstrated he pushes the boundaries to say the least.

"..A BIG-MONEY rugby league star was being investigated last night after racist comments appeared on his and a mate’s Facebook pages.

Super League ace Ben Cockayne, 27, allegedly posted “p*** c***” on the site earlier this week.

It is thought the Hull KR fullback wrote on a pal’s profile page: “u owe me a quid an the p*** c*** that has got my wallet in his car owes me about 100”. It is believed Cockayne was referring to a wallet which he had lost in a taxi.

But 53 minutes later Cockayne, who was given a 12-month suspended sentence in 2009 for an assault, wrote on Facebook: “Found it thank f***”.

Last night Cockayne’s Facebook profile was removed within hours of the Mirror contacting his club and the Rugby Football League. A Hull KR spokesman said: “The club will be carrying out a full internal investigation into comments allegedly made on a website by Ben Cockayne. Nobody will be commenting further until that has concluded.”

The Rugby Football League, which has a Kick Racism Into Touch campaign, said: “We will be speaking to Hull KR about a potential social media matter.”

I personally enjoyed the good Friday game, match day is about more then just the game to me. Thought the atmos with the flags and volume from both sets of fans was fantastic and the game was the best we have seen for a while. The banter around us with away support was all in good jest and hands were shook at the end. I'm not getting carried away with the result and hope for the best against Wire and the rest of the season. It won't though stop me enjoying taking the pish out of KR fans at work on Tuesday and getting a bit of payback for the last loss.

Who is getting carried away? We know the problem has not gone away but when you win a game you are usually happy for a while.
