As opposed to a call to ...................

Stupid question if you ask me....everyones entitled to there opinion on the running of the team/club etc but surely we want to win every game...if not then you should stay at home.

I disagree, although I would never want my team to lose, I can fully understand why some people want them to at the moment. There are taking the view that the longer Agar is running(or is that ruining?) the team the further we are away from competing so a couple of losses will benefit us in the long run. Whether they are right in their assumption is a different matter.

I reckon if a scenario came up that went something like this

Last game of the season, we have 4th place secured and cannot move up to 3rd or drop to 4th. We are playing the team in 1st place. Rovers are in 2nd and a win for them and a defeat for the team in 1st would see them crowned league winners.

I would expect a lot of Hull fans to want to lose thus guaranteeing Rovers don't win the league leaders shield. I would not personally but I know a lot who would.

I know it is a different scenario just playing devils advocate here

You're right in that people will do what they like and so they should if that's what they want to do. Make banners, shout for the coach's head, make up/support unfounded rumours etc. etc. But, in the same way, other people will have their own opinions as to whether that constitutes good/loyal support for the team or not. All of those opinions are justified, regardless of which angle they come from, and are subject to the same choices of opinion that you refer to.

A true fan wants their team to win all games available ..end of!! and i am sure you and your friends are the minority (Ie banner wavers)
AND this issue is not a cross city rivalry its about a man losing his job or not!! which incidentally losing against cas would not influence one bit!!

Losing or winning doesn't seem to affect it, hence the reason supporters feel the need to protest in other ways. Not that you are likely to know, you could write your significant insights into the club on a fag paper.

Just stating facts. You have been on here with more speculation than anyone else and the majority of it is wrong.

It's not just about a man losing his job. People are losing jobs all across the country and one person at a professional sports club is insignificant to say the least.

It's about people paying good money to see what, barring a few minutes here and there, has been dross played by professional sportsmen, for a number of reasons. People want rid of Agar (and others) because they love Hull FC, spend money there and want to bask in the glory of the club's success, not as a personal vendetta.

But if your answer to the poll question is YES. Surely going to the game to protest during is counter-productive. Can't protests be organised post or pre match? Or do you think the lack of support or apathy towards your cause is to great?

I always want us to win but the current situation, where we win one in every 3 or 4 is worst case scenario as every time there's some pressure on the board the team win and he's OK for the next couple of abysmal defeats
