If Long went next week, who could we get better than Eastmond or would we risk hoping obst and Houghton don't get injured for the remainder of the season? FWIW i don't think he would have the same issues that he is currently having with Saints, he has let them down badly and things have got out of control.

williams not ready yet physically or defensivly but a very good prospect though, shame about nicko because he would of got game time and im sure he was more then ready for super league

We would have had a better idea of Williams if he had got some game time against Cas. He is as big as Horne was when he started in SL so physically I cannot see a problem. As for defense I cannot comment but like you get with a lot of players, when they step up a grade it can inspire them to perform a lot better.

agree about him getting a bit of game time at cas that would of determine wether he was ready or not and the diffrence now between super league and back in 1998 is a huge diffrence
