More muddying of the water
Hull KR where offered an opportunity to join the other two clubs at the KC, they declined the offer. Both Hull city and FC signed the user agreement as joint major tennants of the KC, they both have veto rights on the stadiums use by other users. Clearly if city where having a good run in the FA cup and wanted use of the stadium one Saturday and it was booked for a wedding, the wedding would move. If this covers bringing a third club into the stadium is difficult, but I would say it could involve re assessing the user agreement ( inc rents ) for all involved.
Mr Allam is a very astute businessman and is now showing distinct signs of wanting to build a sports empire based in Hull, one that will be based on profit. David Lloyd had the same dream and it became a nightmare for him and the sports fans in Hull. It will end in a disaster for him and every one involved around him as the whole thing is built on very dodgy foundations. He may be worth millions on paper, myself and many of others have certifcates stating we xxx number of shares in Hull RLFC, now totaly worthless. He has borrowed heavily to buy city and can not borrow any more to fund them without some form of asset, the KC is the asset he needs.
He know his time is running out as after the local elections the new Labour controlled council will not let him buy the KC. He knows he has but a few weeks to try and extract some sort of deal with the libertines currently in charge, a party that actively campaigned not to build the KC. It makes me smile when I look at the obelisk outside the reception emblazoned with the legend

Hudgell also like the intrique, media attention and the adoration of the red and white hoards, the whole being that is KR seems to enjoy attacking with the intent of destroying FC.
