| Quote ComeOnYouUll="ComeOnYouUll"Frank Sinatra famously said that [iSomething[/i was his favourite Lennon and McCartney song, oops!
Harrison certainly grew as a songwriter. You can add I Want to Tell You, While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Love You To to those two.'"
Harrison was a great songwriter and very under rated in his solo stuff.
Those were just my favourite Beatles tracks. As Lennon said, he and McCartney didn't co-write from 1962, Mccartney was a mixed bag for me.

In my lifetime I'd say OK Computer was the best, but most of the stuff I've grown up with can't hold a candle to the 60s/70s stuff. Personally The White Album is my favourite Beatles album, purely for the diversity and audacity of it.

Appetite for Destruction and Definitely Maybe are my two favourite debut albums.
There were some great B sides from the morning glory years.

I'd take the bends over OK computer, both great albums though.

Andy, there is a world away from columns of figures. Go find it young man, it is there. Just think lateral instead of linear

Exactly, I was born in 81, but grew up with great music.
Definitely Maybe is probably the best album released in my lifetime, closely followed by The Bends and What's the story.
Although a couple of years before my time, The Smiths are sublime. Johnny Marr is a freak with a guitar.

G'n'R never did it for me, must of been the shorts!
Saw somewhere The Masterplan was voted the 6th best album of the 90's, says it all for Noels prolific form between 92 and 95.
