| And so it starts. We best find that halfback 'cover' quickly if we're going to be without one of our two halfbacks for the start of the season. I can't believe we're in this situation having had the last FOUR years to sort the problem out.

I have a feeling that will happen if he doesn't have a good season this year. Or at least only offer him a reduced contract as cover.

Not so sure about that, particularly given our difficulties signing half backs.

I'm thinking the exact same thing, Kosh. Really hope he gets back to his best this season, though.

So do I.
Can't say I'm overly optimistic though.

We'll see, I just hope they don't rush him back. We've seen what it can do to him before. Nicklas or A.N.Other can cover.

Head and Dykes spring to mind. We dont seem to have a problem signing half backs, we have the problem signing fit ones. Again Head and Dykes spring to mind, also Longy.

| Like i said two weeks ago on here with the injury update
RH will miss the friendlies but is targetting Cardiff and as such cant understand where all the doubt or speculation comes from with regards his commitment to the cause or his fitness
Listen last year RH carried a knee and hip issue which hampered his form i agree but what was RA options?? none we didnt have any other option but to run him into the ground with needles keeping him going and he still produced some great displays with Wigan away being one that really stood out when the team were being pummelled left right and centre RH was still in many opinions the man of the match and produced some sublime footie AND the so called spent "show and go" worked over and over...
Richard still has another 2 or three seasons in him at top level but now we have Westy on board it means we also have experienced cover for him if we need it hence why he wont be risked this time till he feels 100% fit and believe it or not he isnt that far off either at best he may miss Cardiff and maybe the next dependant on he himself but to say he is thinking of retiring is so far from the truth its unbelievable, on the contrary he has stated openly that he wants to go out at the top level and add to his own silverware with FC AND thank the fans for his fantastic testimonial by helping them win more silverware so where this rumour has come from is wild guessing at best!!
He is FC right through the middle and would never sponge off the club he is far to honest for that and apart from his knee strengthening routines he looks as fit as he ever did !! we just need to keep RH and SL on the park with westy altogether and we shall see tries come by the backful because that is one serious amount of thought process

Thats the problem. In our last 4 signings in the halves, we have signed 3 crocks and a shocker (although, no predicted him to be that bad)
