If any one thinks that SL will manage 20+ games next season is living in cloud cuckoo land, the guy is shot, we should never have signed him in the first place imo, if he wants to carry on his career then fine, but let him do it on someone elses treatment table and at someone elses expense!

that's quite easy to say with hindsight. somone earlier pointed out that his injury late in the season could have happened to almost anyone regardless of age
i think longy will get more games next season, even playing with horne. optimistic i know but some of us are i guess |

Said it when we signed him, wasnt in hindsight. Saints new they had had the best out the guy, thats why they were happy to be rid. What evidence do you have to think that the guy will play more games next season? Have we discovered some new anti aging drug?
We need to be doing all we can to be lining up a top half back for 2012, |

Dykes was a real class act here, I was surprised just how good a scrum half he was after watching him play most of his career at 6 or 13, when he played we played, I think for me that's the biggest disappointment for me with Long is that we are clearly a better team with him but he also had some poor games too.

Would have been a fantastic signing, had his body not been held together with Sellotape. We were a different team with him on the park. |
