Agree about Briscoe. Tony, however, should also have been retained to continue playing centre/stand off/hooker. I never understood this Briscoe v Tony debate. The equation should always have been Briscoe + Tony.
The biggest mistake was made by Sharp in trying to mould Tony into a fullback when we already had a specialist. Things went wrong for Motu then. Plus he'd have been valuable cover in those crucial positions where we are now weak.
Was a rumour recently that we are looking to re-sign him? |

What a load of rubbish. Briscoe would have made our attack even worse, he's a safe full back but an old fashioned one and wouldn't get in any of the top 5 (which seems to be the benchmark on here ). I wouldn't mind you arguging that he was a loss but to say it's the biggest mistake in the last 10 years is ridiculous. |
