| sad to see the old place go, fascilities a million miles behind the kc but the atmosphere would of spanked the kc everytime, will always sing 'going down the boulevard' though, whatever they put there i would like to see something to remember all the people who had their ashes scattered there.

| A very sad state of affairs indeed!!, Councillors playing games behind the backs of folk, promises never kept, spoken offers never offered all in a days work for the HCC i think!
Many will have wonderful memories of the old place , most will have started their black and white fanatical following pishing against the back wall of the Threepenny however as long as there is a memorial to the old place and those whose ashes lay there its ok, we cant change what is i am afraid and we are now an A class club in the best RL stadium in the UK so times move forward and for the better in many minds however it is sad to see yet another old stadium gone but it will live on in the memories of thousands for many different reasons, the name board at the top of the street will remain and the rugby player on that gable end will remain for all to see so its not altogether gone.
what has gone is any shred of integrity that the HCC had left in the eyes of thousands of FC fans who all now know the truth about our wonderful local government and their party tactics locally.
i would like to say a massive thanks to Wilf who unbeknown to many has fought hard and long for the old Boulevard projects and has never been thanked to my knowledge.. Thank you wilf , i know how you will feel today .
All FC fans lost a member of their family today

I recall listening to the bagpipers playing Old Faithful and shedding a tear or two before wandering across the pitch back home

| I will always remember the Boulevard and the Three penny stand for as long as I live. Started going as a young boy in tow with my younger Brother and our Parents. Always stood in the three penny stand and a Rovers scalf was often thrown over the wooden roof joists and set fire to. The rendition of Red Red Robin Shoot the bar steward was always deafening as the scalf was ablaze. Only the urine stopped that stand from burning down I'm sure. Happy days

| I'll never forget my first derby in the threepenney, 12,000 attended a Division one game and we won 18-14.
Remember Steve Craven scoring a peach that day and who could forget Viakona trampoling all over Rovers defenders to score infront of Threepenney.
Oooohh Aaaahh Tevita Viakona!
What you'd do just to be in Threepenney for one more game!

I was there with Steve Massam and a certain turncoat junior coach who has now passed over, about half an hour later raising a glass on the centre spot! There were a few of us shedding a tear today down there , and cranes and bull dozers everwhere you cant get in either security on the gates, Health and safety apparently! Had a look at number 23 in Aylesford street across the road where I was brought up it was a sorry sight too. Sad sight indeed perhaps its better to remember it when those in the the old wooden Threepennies were burning scarves throwing Banana's, and preserving the wood at half time! When all the streets were filled with cars parked at at 45 degrees to the pavement and all the back yards were full of bicycles.
We should have been back there playing our under 20's games next season but we've been screwed!

Mine was when Australia played there during the 80's and the threepenny stand sang to their mascot 'Skippy, Skippy give us a wave, give us a wave, Skippy' which he duly did, they then sang 'Skippy is a ker, Skippy is a ker'
