Quote: ChampagneSuperRovers "I'm sorry mate, but your opinions are quite unfound in the context of the game of RUGBY LEAGUE.

The incident referred to, yes happened. I'm not disputing that, you cannot compare off field incidents with on field.

Who knows? Hame Lauaki might have commited numerous crimes in his Native land.

Do you view every incident with these spectacles? In future, try and look in a situation with a non-biased view, you might find you come across as approachable.'"

Cockend was a cheap shot merchant all the way through the 2nd half, anyway enough of that.

All together now ...... We got the best Briscoe in the town eusa_clap.gif

There must have been a record number of pitchforks and torches sold tonight because there was certainly a witch-hunt on Benny boy.

Anyway your going on the naughty list Convicts, because your an exception to an otherwise good Rugby League crowd on this very forum.

I think he was going to try and put him over for the drop out, then realised he was too far out and put him down.

Shaun made it look a hell of a lot worse by extending his legs high in the air to emphasise the angle he was at.

The touch judge must've thought the same or he'd have either walked or at least been put on report.

Was it silly, yes.

Was he really trying to break his neck, not a chance.

Thought he had no chance. 3 against 1 and he came out on top. He probably won't make a bigger tackle in his career.

Sit back and be proud tonight, fella.

I said on another thread, the way Briscoe went into the tackle tipped the balance, and when he kicked his legs to try and get up it made Lauaki lifting him hard to avoid. He just put him back down again, no fuss. If it hadn't been for the fact that he'd tried to gain ground it arguably might not have even been a penalty.

Looked far worse than it really was.

Unbelievable tackle!
Deserved to win the game after that tackle; FC were the better team overall i'd say.

Agreed, it was not even slightly bad. Penalty yeah, but not in the slightest malicious, put him down like a baby!

Sure was, I thought Fox was in and you'd have put money on Dobson converting to win the game which would have been devastating.

Well done on coming onto the Hull board though, most of your fellow Rovers fans seem to have gone into hiding icon_lol.gif
