Based on this seasons performances he would do just as good a job as Cusack, Radford and Dowes on a lot less money which would enable to strengthen in other areas. Orge and Moa can be the hard hitting props with Dowes and say LMS as the work horses with Wheeldon as back-up. A cheaper unit then we currently use and much better IMO.

do you seen any of the top sides going with props like that tho'?.ogre and moa,yes,but the top sides have excellent backups,not average.

leeds,saints,wire,and even wigan.

No he's not worth that kind of money.

Who is the 5th choice prop at those clubs please.

leeds have leulai,burgess,bailey,kirke,jjb,peacock

saints have fozzard,graham,hargreaves faasavalu

wigan fielden,coley,paleaasina,prescott,o'carroll

wire morley,carvell,wood,cooper

ogre and moa-yes.but what about backups?would you pick radford,dowes or wheeldon over these?

Ogre, Moa possibly LMS and then Dowes is a decent unit with Wheeldon as back up. Just who else could we realistically get that is British and an improvement without costing a lot more money?

Mind you look at hudds, they only have 3 props

jjb and kirke have played prop just as many times as 2nd row this year.

Sr's who can play as prop, same way we could use luaki/fitz/tickle i guess rather than keeping 5 first choicers
