Virtually stopped snowing in Skipton area, and sky looking brighter

apperently the M62 is bad allready, and not been gritted either (what a suprise)

I drive to Howden every day and it takes me best part of hour to hour and a half when its like this, so god knows how long it would take to Wrexham.

I do hear from a friend who has set off that the A63 has not been gritted.

We're in Chester (foolishly decided to make a weekend of it)


It's certainly thawing here and it's quite bright, snow's stopped. Would think it will be on if they can clear the pitch?

Snow stopped here in Uttoxeter 50 miles east of Wrexham. Melting already snow very wet/slushy.

Just waiting for the pitch inspection before setting off. May have to re-think my route as it was going to be across country up to the A5 and that might be dodgy, although we've only had around 1/2 inch of snow here and it's already melting.

One bonus is it's a Sunday so traffic will be minimal and you'll be able to plan a decent alternative route. If it was a Friday or Saturday I think they'd just call it off due to the away fans not been able to make it??
