I missed the winks off that one.
It is, however, now interesting, as much debate on here has been about what the club owes the owners, now that debt is removed what price Hull FC?
As for that lot on Poorhouse Lane, a director wouldn't want to be at the helm during a period of administration, it might effect his ability to continue to practice his day job.
maybe hes out to concentrate on his TV ads

Some people just don't like them. They'd rather have a fan own the club, because that's been proven to be far more successful...
Oh - hang on...

| I have had a chat with a friend who was also at the game on Friday night (12/02/10). He told me that he saw James Rule sat watching the game with Nick Barmby and non other than Neil Hudgell. I didn't see them from where i sat in the west stand so I don't want to start a vicious rumour. Did anyone else see this trio on Friday evening?

| Quote colt-45="colt-45"Hull also report having 'fixed assets' of more than £1.3m in their accounts – including £980,000 worth of players, which are counted as 'intangible fixed assets'. The players are included as assets despite club auditors advising against it, as it is not in accordance with financial reporting standards.
Despite this, finance director Tony Sutton insists in his view it is only right they be included, and he stressed their inclusion has no impact on the profits.
He explained: "Everything we do links back to how those players play on the pitch, so they are, in a true sense, an asset."
HOPE THIS CLEARS THE MATTER UP ONCE AND FOR ALL FOR OUR 6 TOE'D NEIGHBOURS.......GET IN THERE.
GREAT NEWS FROM A GREAT CLUB....ONWARDS AN UPWARDS...'"
Don't get too carried away by these comment. From an accounting point of view the only player value that could be put in to the balance sheet is the transfer fee paid for Jordan Tansey. This cost would be spread over the length of the initial contract term which Tansey signed.
The other valuation are made with no real basis for reliabile measurement and as such do not come under the accounting definition of an asset.

I cannot say who James Rule was with before and after the match but I definitely know that he wasnt sat with Barmby or Hudge during the game as I was sat about 10 foot to his left.

I cant understand why any current director would want to sell up though and allow new members on board anyway, so cant see it myself ??
As for Hudge being allowed anywhere near the FC board that just complete codswallop !
I have spoken to both Rule and Sutton on numerous occasions and lets just say If Hudge was on fire..................................

My thoughs too, however I did think that if it were true then maybe Rule was giving Hudge a lesson on how to run a popular, sucessful RL team. wait for a bite now, might catch myself a 12lbs dobbin.
