The club got special dispensation from SL to not have the usual sponsor on the back cover like every other club programme IIRC. so that we could have the squads on the back. Good move well done Clarky

The programme is very impressive and if they are like that every home game Im sure readership will be up, i personally will be buying one when i dont usually. Really happy with the content and its good to hear the opinions of so many different parts of the club set up. Although Im still a bit hacked off that Johnny pinched my user name for his column title.

Me. Although only because it's Quins and it will therefore be more interesting than watching the game.

i really liked the content and quality and would buy one next time ,save me losing it at the bookies

must admit never normally buy one but may be tempted now and again having seen the quality. one thing i dont want to see is articles in the program cropping up elsewhere in newspapers etc. would hope that most stuff in there is exclusive. how much will the magazine be?

final question, does anyone think there would be mileage in a hull fc magazine produced maybe monthly and distributed through newsagents, think there was one in the past that was tried, but can't remember much about it

I thought the programme was really excellent and as Paul M I think said, it's worthy of a CC semi final in terms of presentation and content. I also like to read Kath's column as we don't get her take on things very often. It's a massive challenge in the era of the internet to get timely and exclusive stuff out, but the club have done really well here. Will probably buy one next time and see what that one's like.

I wonder whether, if they did a magazine, they might be better getting subscriptions and mailing them out TBH. Cheaper distribution route than paying margins to retailers.

The problem with a magazine, as you've already alluded to, is the saturation of content. With the website, programme, HDM and a magazine, there would be a struggle for each outlet to have exclusive and fresh content.

FC Voices have put the idea of a magazine to the club on several occassions but the outlay and logistics of not just putting it together but sellling it and distributing it are massive and would be a big drain on limited resources. The club want to have a go at a traditional match day programme and this one was excellant particulaly kaths bit!! Her comments have been mirrored in the RL Press this week where she said that our season ticket sales made us the most commercially successful club in the comp! I don't think that there is any doubt that we have sold more than even Leeds this time around!

I reckon they still have done 9k TBH, there is still the restriction on the south stand
