True enough but four months without an FC fix and the prospect of seeing the new players means I am really looking forward to the match.

By all means look forward to it, so you should given you are parting with your time and money to attend, but a count down thread, really?

I hope everyone enjoys a good afternoon, I hope it's a good game, I hope you see some sembence of tactics from FC, I hope the substitutions make sense unlike last season, and most of all I hope we come out of the other end unscathed.

My biggest concern for the game is Morgan's squad and the fact it's unlimited interchanges, it could become a farce after 60 minutes.

People seem to be forgetting what this game is all about. The result is immaterial. It's all about a great and brave servant to the game and the club. Seeing him run out today after a pretty horrendous couple of years is worth the money itself.

I'm not expecting a super performance, just the beginnings of a team that wants to gel and win.
