The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

As cover they are as good as we have from an options point of view. Damn site better than if we put Horne or Washy to 7. Tansey would be my preference for cover at 7 as thats where he has played most ofhis junior rugby at leeds and has proven already for us that he has flair.
We dont need to carry a reserve 7 imo, waste of cap space.

Absolutely. Starting Manu and using him for 80 mins is an absolute waste. Impact 2nd row at any other club and for any other coach.

he'll never make a super league full back and should be trained and conditioned to play a position he can make it in, back row.

who said anything about a back up?
We need someone who can play alongside Long doing a similar job and also good enough if/when Long is not in the team.
Who else in the squad at present can get the team around the park? No one, which is why weve been in the same predicament the past 3 seasons. The way the game is played and structured nowadays has very little skill apart from halfback play which is where its needed, its all about pace and power.

| Quote: The Hollywood Frasier "No chance he demands so much attention playing that wide running role he opens up space for his centre.
I know he may have only set up 1 of Halls tries on Friday ball in hand but Halls other 2 came due to his off the ball running as Quins were going into double coverage on Manu leaving Hall with 2 massive gaps to walk through.'"
Could you not say the same if he played in the centre though, accept creating space for his winger? He'd most certainly draw the attention of his opposite centre and most likely draw in their winger to help make the tackle. If he can do that and pop the ball out to the winger, we'd skin teams fairly regularly. Plus he'll find it easier to go through the smaller backs than he will the forwards.
I don't think there's any harm in experimenting. Especially considering our strength in the second row and our weakness in the centres.

As already been mentioned, playing in the centres would mean he played for the full 80. He needs a break somewhere throughout the game. I wouldn't really say were weak in the centres I am more than happy with Hall and Yeaman.

If you think there is very little skill in the game you must not watch many other sports. I think you're generalising cognitive skill as skill overall. Most pro-RL players have the physical skills to do what half-backs can do (i.e. run, step, deceive, pass, etc.) but lack the decision-making ability to be able to do it when it matters most (or to pick out the right skill at all in time).
Tends to be why you find most failed half-backs end up playing as a hooker (a role that has a similar skill-set, but requires far less decisions to be made in a longer period of time to make them).

He wouldn't get as much ball playing in the centres, so he wouldn't go through as much work. He'd be a constant threat with his presence on the field, with or without the ball.
Vainikolo wasn't spelled. He could have played prop.

I know what you're saying, but would just keep him where he is. Hall is fine in the centres for me.
