I'm very surprised at the amount of criticism he gets from Salford fans. I don't have an in-depth knowledge of their squad so maybe it's a bit stronger than I realise but the fact remains they are a newly promoted side who were never going to do any more than consolidate this season. They have had some hammerings, but they've also pulled off some very good results (beating Saints for example).

That said, I wouldnt want him back at Hull. Hypothetically, I'd take him over Agar in a second, but in terms of our long-term progression it would be a mistake to bring him back IMO.

On that logic we have Briers and Sculthorpe nailed on next season!

Why would he be silly to stay if he has worked hard to impress and win over his employer? Having seen Wigans academy and reserve grade this season as well as the improvements the first grade have made it would take a silly man to walk away of his own accord.

Might get shot down here but i'd have Noble here over the current set up anyday - OOC at the year end and consistently has his sides there or thereabouts in the play offs. Can't see why people knock the bloke.
