We get one of these 'if we get behind the players they might do x, y and z' posts every week. At best they are wishful thinking, and at worst total b0llocks.

The players are professional sportsmen paid to do a job most of us would love to do. The fact is, many of them look like they couldn't give a monkey's chuff whether they win or lose. I'll cheer effort and pride in the jersey. I won't cheer half measures.

The players dont deserve the fans to be behind them. Its the fans job to get behind them in the bad times when things just arent going right but they are trying their hearts out. Most of them are lazy and play as if they dont give a toss. If they start to show some sort of effort and passion whether they are winning or losing, I will sing my heart out but until they do I will just sit as I usually do, wondering why I came

The one thing I defintely don't want tonight is to be surrounded by numpties that only language they know is eff and c at anyone who will listen.

I would honestly rather they stayed away then carried on like the lunatics did at Wakey on Saturday, these people they are constantly shouting obsenities at are human beings for gods sake! I was always told as a child that if I couldn't say anything nice don't say it at all!

I shouted and swore at the players (well, the ones who I thought needed shouting at not at any random players) on Saturday and they deserved it. I paid my money and have the right to tell them how I feel, its my money they are getting after all. I'd happily tell any player or coach how I felt about their performance face to face unlike some who slag them off on messageboards yet when they see them in person they want to be their best friends

We were on a 2 game winning run before the capitulation against leeds. Confidence does play a part but our problems run much deeper
