If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |

Think your confusing Kite with Josh Perry his fellow prop at Manly.
Thats assuming you are talking about the Newton link? ![Laughing icon_lol.gif](images/smilies//icon_lol.gif)

I'd often see Billy an hour later sharing a beer with his rival, with both blokes sporting half a dozen stitches in their scones. They were a breed apart, fornt-rowers - blokes like Bluey were proof of that." Johnny Raper on Billy Wilson and other front rowers of the time:44393.gif |

| If we re-sign Cusack I will not be a very happy bunny .....re-signing him and missing out on orford will cost them at least 1000 pass holders and 2-3k off the normal gate.
Cusack just aint good enough and seems to be getting a bit injured of late since he has been here and he is a big waste of a quota spot especially as dowes just does a good as job as cusack.

If our board dont sign quality and keep re-signing these average players then you know it and everyone knows it pass sales and gates will be down.
2 seasons of utter e and I think most fans will choose there games next year unless ALOT changes before start of next season.
Fitzgibbon was world class 5-7 years ago hes just a goodish player now.

That's why he played in the World Cup Final six months ago, then?

A lot of people seem to forget that very point. Fitzgibbon last season kept out a raft of talented players by retaining his SOO and Test place.

| Kite & Lynch in and King & Thackray out. Now that would show ambition. Which is exactly why it will never happen. What a pack it would be though!
Dowes
Kite
Lynch
Lauaki
Fitzgibbon
Manu
Tickle
Berrigan
Radford
Burnett
Washbrook
Whiting
Houghton/Lee (one has to go and it would be Lee for me even though he's been OK this year).

Why get rid of Thackray? He gives 100% week-in week-out, he's one of the only people to consistently push through the line, and continue forward whilst being tackled (just look at Cusack in comparison, he's not worth a flying e when attacking, generally), and he actually acts like he cares about the result. For me, keep him, he's been one of our top players this season.

Yep he did inspire them to world cup glory didnt he ...erm hang on no he didnt did he
Add another year onto his ageing body and we see what we get...hopefully he will be awesome but he wont be nowhere near in his prime and thats where im coming from. We always sign them when there coming to the end of there career.

| I thought that we were originally letting him go but then due to how he was playing we were looking at keeping him for another year, however with the injury he now has I would think it's doubtful we would offer him another year at his age.

He's probably playing some of the best rugby of his career. His last three performances in particular have been top class. If he continues in this vein of form for the rest of the season he'll be man of steel without a doubt.
