we are the RL equivalent of Newcastle United! both have big grounds and support for their leagues, but both continually under perform due to hiring the wrong coaches and buying players who looked good 5 years ago and now spend more time on treatment tables.

the only thing we haven't done thus far is bring back a club 'legend' as manager...so maybe Lee Crooks is next FC head coach!

If you win on Sunday, will you think that a 7 and 5 record is pretty good in a highly competitive league? Or celebrate having only one less league win than you managed all of last year, less than halfway through the season? All this when you are effectively playing with a reduced cap due to Visa issues and have had Raynor, Tony and Byrne missing from your backline through injury - none of which was Agar's fault.
I honestly think you are aiming your fire in the wrong direction. Agar is not the underlying problem.

I'd agree with you but I think people are expecting agar to be sacked a new coach come in and all will be well. That is not the case alot of this squad must go if we are to become a top side again.

I don't think the issue is solely how many games have been won/lost, it's how we have played in those games.

Quite. That being said, the side we have is capable of much better than it has been producing. We have played badly in several games and looked totally disnterested in some of them. Yet we've only lost one by a big margin. If we had produced performances anywhere near to our potential we would have won many more games than we have.

In many respects I don't want to see Agar leave the club. From what I have been told, the man puts in countless hours both at the club and scouting out youngsters to bring to the club. He's well respected in the amateur game and has been instrumental in us securing some top talent from W Yorkshire (the Briscoe brothers amongst others). Unfortunately, he just doesn't seem to be head coach material for a top club at the moment. As has been said, the players we have should have been capable of winning more games this season, and we should have won all of our home games to date at the very least. In addition, the style of rugby is terrible. We are, without doubt, the most dour team in SL and seem incapable of doing the basics of the game at times.

I appreciate that there are players missing, however we're not the only team who are understrenght. Look at wakey. They have a paper thin squad which has been decimated, yet they still manage to play attractive rugby. I could accept us losing if we were at least entertaining.

Agar has been in charge for a year now and we're still playing the same brand of one man rugby we were before he took over. I just don't think he's the man for us

I agree and I think its right, sacking him mid season would do no good, lets give him the year and see what he can do.

That's the point. Unless someone really, really good becomes available, getting rid of Agar will just mean more of the same when they hand the job to Sharp.

Give him until the end of the season and take stock then.
