Most clubs in SL have similar cover to us. We cant carry cover for the positions you mention but have an adequate squad with the likes of Turner and Whiting there too. |

dont get me wrong dave i have no problem with the squad i just think that turner, whiting and even washy cant cover 1, 7 or 9 and to prevent tansey or berrigan getting moved i'd rather bring the young lads in. |

Its a fair point, again though, there arent many teams that can bring direct cover in, lots of teams need to move players about. If Long was injured for 2 weeks i would be more than happy to see Tansey moved to 7 and someone else playing full back. Its only a temporary solution for a couple of weeks should it ever need to used. (tansey played most of his junior rugby at leeds as a 7 anyway so has more experience there than others in our squad) |
