Quote: the cal train "After having slept on that; It’s like the players have been told they’re all playing for a contract in 2024 and most of them have decided they’re off and can toss it off for a season. Beggars belief that these are professional athletes.'"

To be honest walking home yesterday I thought they looked like a group that have been told who and who won’t be here next year and the ones that won’t be have chucked the towel in.

As has been said as good as Taylor and Houghton have been for us sadly they are done at SL, Houghton doesn’t look interested and Taylor after having missed a game instead of looking fresh looked anything but.
Evans not a lot to say really as just don’t see what he offers at all and his minutes per game is shockingly low.
Lane a million miles away from the player that showed so much promise a few years ago and a defensive liability out played by Griffin in 2nd says it all.
Lovodua started with a bang last season but done nothing else of note and don’t really see where he fits in to be honest. Doesn’t excel in a particular position and is in all honesty nothing more than average.
Scott whilst he’s improved just isn’t a frontline starting SL centre.
McIntosh another who although he wasn’t the worst yesterday just has too many errors and brain farts in him.
Griffin at centre was pretty poor and didn’t compare anywhere near his performances at 2nd which I thought he’d been pretty good.

As good as Tony Smith is and with his proven track record even he can’t polish the turd within the squad.
Pity he didn’t tell them not to bother changing and have them straight out on west park working on their defence and tackling.

The problem we don’t have enough replacements to drop the number of players that just didn’t perform yesterday.

Quite correct HullKR21, that's why there are always more at Hull games than Kingston Rover's!

Shame they’re all gone by the 50th minute. Looking forward to seeing the thousands at saints on Friday. Might need to look up the word ‘faithful’. Booooooo

Good job they are not content to be gallant because that is one thing they are not. You could never call that shower brave or heroic.

You realise you're just repeating what our own fans are saying about the team? You're not actually saying anything different. Literally nobody is going to disagree with you.
As far as trolling goes, you actually make that WarringWolve guy look quite good at it.

No we did not win against the pacesetters. It was a big disappointment. You keep referring to the past and that is all you FC fans have to cling onto. For the past two seasons you have been the second club in the City. If your abject performance yesterday is anything to go by that is likely to continue. Time will tell. For years FC were the top team and it must be difficult to accept that this is no longer the case. The best thing is a a Rovers win. The next best thing is an FC loss and a shellacking makes it just that bit better.

The thing is though, its actually about winning competitions not just the odd game or two and, lets face it, you've not really shone in that department. We don't like bad results but we can live with them because we have a history of winning the things that matter.

Being the best club in the city isn't the limit of my ambitions and I hope to god that the club thinks the same, if you're content with being the best team in hull then fair enough.

All your fans have to cling to is the past, you certainly don't have anything recent in terms of success to crow about (apart from a few wins over us). Fair play to rovers you've had a decent couple of years but the closest you've been to success was in 2015 (which ended well). Being the best club in the city isn't really an achievement given how dire we've been for the majority of the last 4 years or so.

Are you aware that the Super League extends beyond the boundary of Hull? If we aren't the best side in the competition, we are failing in our goal. That should he the same for every club in the league. Evidently, it clearly isn't.

A perfect summary of your small club syndrome, well done.

"Lol" as hullkr21 (or whatever they're called) would say.
