I know people will probably criticise him as a player now he's signed for rovers, but I'd have loved Mcillorum for a year, despite his age he's still one of the best hookers in super league, he'd have been great for Balmforth and Borough to learn off too, he's as tough as they come and a great competitor, would give our side a bit of grunt which we lack a bit too. Wonder how many bans him and JWH pick up between them

Not at their age, Mcilorum offers zero threat, strong defender that's it.

I'd be disappointed with either for next season.

Just signed a young hooker from London too, the amount of young players Peters has signed, not given a chance and moved them on.

It's a reflection of the market that Saints have gone in for him.

You can question some of the signings we have made but we have given a number of academy players an opportunity and most of them look more than capable.

Rovers have got a good squad, but they do make odd signings

Not all but the fact we could have played Pele or Ockunbor, Moy in front of Moy etc, shows the direction we ate trying.
