| Quote: The Hollywood Frasier "Wow this forum is a shambles no wonder it’s nowhere near as active as it used to be.
Anyway about the game Houghton was superb his tackle count will be outrageous he seemed to be everywhere especially with how much Leeds forwards were offloading. Paea had a monster first stint and Taylor had a really good 2nd stint much improved from the past few weeks.
Before the game it seemed clear it was between Fash/Green/Lane for the last spot on the bench next week and on today’s performance it has got to Fash as he was really strong in the middle.
I know there is rivalry between the 2 clubs however it would be terrible for the league if Leeds went down due to what they bring to the league and would leave SL in a weaker position when it comes to negotiating a new TV deal.'"
Houghton’s 8/10 every week, made some vital tackles today.

The 1 late on, on Cuthbertson stuck out to me he had no right to make that tackle but he just chopped him down by himself. The way he reacted at the full time whistle just proved how spent he was as I can’t remember him collapsing like that in a league game.

Fash has been really strong of late. Good to see, not sure whether he's contracted beyond this year.

| Absolutely brilliant win
Today I don’t think it truly mattered if it was a super performance BUT a win was utterly essential
Look at the Table and see how good it feels that we won
Winning breeds confidence - ask London tonight
Seb - I miss your input , ignore the bell ends lol
I’ve just read the last 10 pages and my oh my it’s like a school playground
I was hoping for a match summary
How was the last try ?

Definitely taken his chance this year, thought he was out of favour but could see him hooking.

| Well what can I say we got over the line and got the two points. Started well and nearly paid for not turning the early pressure into more pts in the 1st half. We were pretty much controlling the game up until the Hanley intercept then our defence decided to stop sliding left leaving Faraimo & Griffin our numbered for Briscoe to get the go ahead score. Thought Faraimos take and vertically headfirst try was immense how he didn’t injure himself I’ll never know. Houghton tackling machine as always but some good scoots too. Thought Ratu’s tackle on Hurrell towards the end was a great and important one. Great break by Griffin to set up Shaul for his score. Bowden looked his best yet and Paea, Taylor and Fash looked strong. Thought we looked laboured and flat at times though.
Was good to see Houghton giving them a good talking to under the posts too. Hats to them for not giving in and getting back in front. Nice to come away not only with two points but also actually dry instead of p!ss!ng wet through

| Think Fash signed a 5 year deal last year or the one before ?
One of the longest contracted players, hence the desire to give him every opportunity to develop. To be fair he is much improved in last few weeks, worth his place on merit.

| A fine game on a Sunday afternoon, big following from Hull, you just don’t get this on a Thursday.
Some poster, asked if Connor was playing, in the first fifteen he was creating havoc.
Seemed to be holding his neck after a missed tackle.
Danny Houghton captain fantastic, in a game we’re after twenty minutes we got drawn into a battle down the middle, after earlier going wide and finding Leeds out.
Konrad Trent and their new import outstanding, I wager in parts that’s the best footie Leeds have played this season, they displayed a character which has been lacking this season.
After starting well, the ref seemed to be pulling Hull constantly for foul tackles, but the game was great, it’s been a long time between drinks winning at the posh new Headingley, but boy we had to work for it.
Griffin outstanding again, he’s a threat.
One thing though I don’t agree with Brad Fash getting the nod over Chris Green, I think we miss Greeny size and power, and in my humble opinion would get the shout in the semi.

| Quote: christopher "Leeds fan in peace.
Thought that was a cracking Sunday afternoons entertainment and fair play to both your fans for a great atmosphere and the club for not resting players.
Disappointing for us bar a couple of errors I thought it was an evenly matched game which I wasn’t expecting (I actually thought you would wallop us!)'"
It was great entertainment Christopher, and your post is much more consise and adult compared to your “fish post” earlier.
Well played.

Plus a big financial hit
There will of course be several changes for Wigan so expect to see Green,Litten,Hadley,Buchanan and maybe Masi been given a run
