Personally would of rather kept Manu over Mini, sign a British back rower to replace him and use the quota spot on a big offloading prop, like Ikahihifo at Hudds.
Suppose Mini staying is okay if Manu goes, hard to replace both in same off season. Still rate Jones, was his first game back against us so could of been rusty.
We definitely need a signing (or 2) to come in and strengthen the 17.

A player like Ikahifo would be on very big money, not easy for us to accommodate while maintaining the right balance on salary cap, which you need to be a top half team.

I’m no expert but I imagine he’d be on similar money to Manu or Mini current wage. We donneed someone like him though, few knocking about the league, him, Cuthbertson, Moors, Sene Lefao, bounce out of tackles, get the offload away. Hopefully Masi can carry on and develop into this sort of player.

I like talanoas but he's missed a lot of games through injury in the last couple of years for a winger

He has, but I'd doubt he would be on a great salary so think he offers good value for money, still played 21 games last year and has played 16 games so far this year, we also now have some good back up in the squad to cover him.

I'm glad to see he's staying. There doesn't seem to be many quality wingers OOC, and with his niggly injuries & age, a 1-year deal is right I think.

Good news about Talanoa. He was on great form earlier in the year so fingers crossed he can recover that form when he comes back. He's still 3rd on the try scoring chart.

One thing I’d love Hull to be able to do is snatch the local talent away from the top clubs, someone like Ben Currie from Wire. Easy said than done and not very often but it does happen.

Exactly my point, the other big clubs do manage to do it every now and then but something we have never being able to do.
