So where is popular for meeting up pre game? Living in London now so will mss the pre game buzz of travelling down on mass. I heard Baker Street was popular last time around.

Baker Street and The Globe in particular are good places to go IF you get there early. The Globe is very much a party atmosphere. You will see shirts of just about every club there. But remember, its a pub on the corner of a street in London. It only take a couple of hundered people in there and its rammed.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?:

Don't forget to set your video recorders!

And if you're really keen, Radio Humberside now broadcast on freeview, so you could easily record their commentary as well.

IIRC both teams took part in a knockonathon in our last game and most of it was blamed on the balls. That game we managed to get to grips with the ball a bit better than Wire on that occasion and I remember that night being a warm one not a wet one. I think 2013 the weather never helped but it was more the occasion getting to the players.

I can see nothing but a Hull win on Saturday, you have the better of us this season, that coupled with the fact we will probably have a makeshift right side in Toby King (who in my opinion has been awful, and i say makeshift although they have played the last 5 games or so we miss an out and out winger) and Rhys Evans who was playing well at centre now on the wing.

In both those games it has been tight and I cannot see anything different on Saturday either unless the occasion gets to one of the teams. Both sides will have strong teams named and both sides are more than capable of winning. I see it as a 50/50 game.

Your a bigger side than we are across the park, except Shaul who is playing well. Our last 3 Challenge Cups we've had a pack or front row that could dominate with Carvell, Morley, Wood, etc. This time I dont we can do that. I hope for a good game, and i dread the feeling of travelling all that way home having lost. It was bad enough after the 2 GF's and that was only 20 mins journey home, i cant image 3-4 hours! Best of luck, but not too much if you get my drift, enjoy the day!

We may be a slightly bigger side but this has made no difference in our 2 previous encounters this year.

We are already adept at the long drive home after losing in a final. In recent years we have had
2006 GF loss
2008 CC final loss
2013 CC final loss

As for Wembley you have a pretty good recent record there with zero losses this century.

In fact I think it is only fair that Wire fans get to experience the long drive home after losing at Wembley.

Too close to call. On paper Hull look to have the stronger pack and three quarters, but Warrington's spine 1-6-7-9-13 looks particularly good. Sandow could run amok and Gidley will be important. Shaul has been a little quiet of late and we are due a bit of magic from him. Obviously we need Sneyd and Houghton to have big games.

Hopefully the game will be decided by good attacking play rather than individual errors or refereeing controversy.

It will be tight - thats for sure. It remains to be seen whether the occasion gets to Evans and King - or more to the point whether Talanoa, Yeaman and Pritchard/Minichiello target them. Your right edge defence (inclduing Sandow) will have to be really strong to repel that coming forward.

The other edge for us with Manu and Fonua will have to work harder for points; but the game for me hangs on whether you can create the space for Sandow as he is dangerous when he takes the game to the line.

I expect a really brutal opening 10-15 minutes with it all being upfront - its about who emerges with the energy after that to capitalise - and also whose bench makes the greatest impact to cover the changes that the opening encounter will require.

Not that it really matter but Warrington's Chief Executive Roger Draper says Hull FC supporters will outnumber Wolves' supporters by about 2-1.

Quote: "Ticket sales for Warrington fans are between 12,500-13,000, while Hull are expected to have nearer 25,000 at the showpiece final on Saturday.

With Hull being a bigger place and never having won at Wembley, compared to Warrington’s three recent successes, Draper admits excitement about the club’s return to Wembley, is somewhat less than 2009 – but will still be a fantastic day, worth around £250,000 for the club.'"

Even before this year, in my eyes you guys have been our "bogey side" or its certainly felt that way. Always a tough game and generally close.

I think with your pack you will take control and then having the likes of Pritchard to come on can give you momentum. He reminds of when we had Solomona, always lifted the team when he came on and made an impact. He is that sort of player.

Once we lose Hill and Sims, we drop. In previous Wembley visits we have lifted when our rotation props came on, we will probably have George King and Bailey to come on, who are steady but not going to lift the team. Although Bailey had his best game for us last week. Our interchange lifting has to come from Westwood. Westerman has been really good for us, top player. Jack Hughes is steady but doesnt run hard for metres, Currie is the same. They lack the grunt and ruthless side of the likes of a Minichello.

I think the occasion is going to get the better of Sandow, just a gut feeling. Hoping im wrong. Also about other comments ive seen about your guys being unfocused with wembley songs and suits etc, our lot were at M&S getting kitted out for there suits lol Atkins i will say will be our main strike weapon......
