| Quote: Mrs Barista "I'd just accept it now, I have done. LLS is theirs to lose as you say they are injury free and I think they are playing within themselves. This is not "Rovers fandom" - if this were any other team we'd be delighted at someone breaking the 3 club stranglehold on the title, so may as well be grown-up and magnanimous about what they achieve.
I'm completely at a loss about what FC do next. Without a new owner, significant investment and complete cultural reset we'll remain a bottom 2 club.'"
Looking at the fixture list, I think Wigan win the LLS.
Agree about Hull, was really positive when Myler and the rumored investment came in, recruitment started positivity including new coach, but since then, not a lot to get exited about.

Quote: Dave K. "Is it time to admit that that Hardraker might be a good signing, played really well today and the last few games.
At good as Carlos, but cheaper, more robust, non quota and kicks goals.
Big John had some nice touches too in that 2nd spell. All 4 trys scored when he was on the field too.'"
No response to this, not really a surprise, would have been 10 posts in he dropped a ball.
Stats from yesterday, 20 runs, over 200m, 10 tackle busts 1 try, 5/5 goals.
In fact stats from the last few games have been very good.

Don’t fret Dave, it doesn’t fit their agenda.

Well after the weekend I think its fair to say anyone not currently playing for our club would indeed be an improvement even from the London squad.
For me Hardakers signing in terms of his ability isn't an issue, its the baggage he has, though that said he does seem to have at least been fairly incident free at Leigh both on and off the field.

definitely better as a fb rather than a centre but will he play fb for us with walker and moy in the squad? He'll be 35 in his 2nd season with us so will become less and less effective

I don't think age is an issue, his game isn't about speed, he is unbelievable fit and robust. Good option at both centre and FB, better than we have for sure.
I get his off field antics but ability wise he is much better than we have, if we can get an overseas centre of some quality, him and Hardraker with Litten and Chamberlain is alot better than we have this year.

I come in peace over this mate, 2 weeks ago we played castleford they had about 20 young kids that turned up looking for fights and throwing bottles at the home end and for the first time in a long time there wasn’t a retaliation from our fans which I was massively surprised about and actually thought our home end are realising it looks bad on us all and was learning,
Then yesterday the cas fans was in their seats literally 5 mins and they was back to throwing beers and our fans and with all the best will in the world if you’re lobbing bottles into a crowd where women and children could be on the receiving end you deserve a punch for me,
We have a certain morons ourselves like the derby at your place there’s just zero need for it at all, I do agree that people are slagging rovers fans off for it and something 100% needs to be done about us having away fans in that north stand because 9 times out of 10 if you turn up looking for trouble at our place there’s always someone willing to take the challenge

all clubs have idiot fans, particularly those who come out of the woodwork when there is a bit of success. I know loads of rovers fans who go to enjoy the rugby and never cause issues. I'd like to punch most of them in the face most days like

Your fans arrested again I read. As you say it's was hot and tempers fray. Understandable I suppose.
Hope you didn't get caught up in the violence.

On a visit to Wilderspool, early 80’s me and our kid nipped to the toilets at the side of the standing end, I heard a metallic clang and turned to my brother, he was rubbing his head and holding a beer tray and pee down his jeans. When we walked out 2 coppers tried to arrest him until he showed them his army warrant card, they didn’t even bother with the who threw the tray.
