Phelps would be a good signing and judging by his comments it wouldn't take a big salary to get him. If we signed Phelps and Sammut (I'm assuming Sammut would be on the other quota owing to his Maltese passport) then our season outlook would be significantly better.

We've got 2/3 quota spaces depending on moa.
But there irrelevant, unless we sign player signed in sl before 2008, as we only have 1 non fed. |

We have 4 players who count on the non-fed list, Phelps would be the 5th, as he's an Aussie and Aussies/kiwis count on both quota and non-fed lists.
