Josh Reynolds and Jordan Lane both picked up injuries during Sunday’s match against Castleford Tigers, whilst Connor Wynne is doubtful having suffered an arm injury.

Strange that Hull Daily Mail doesn't mention an injury keeping him out and states it is an issue

| Did seem to have a fair bit of strapping round his arm on Sunday, maybe the quick turnaround has come too soon after playing with a possible knock?

Yep as you say Reynolds arm was very heavily strapped from his wrist practically right up to his shoulder so possibly due to the very short turnaround he is being rested?
Says [url=https://www.hullfc.com/blog/2022/03/08/hodgson-names-21-man-squad-for-leeds-clash/here[/url both Reynolds and Lane picked up injuries in the game at Cas.

| Time is certainly running out for Reynolds to get a contract extension (I don't see how the option could be in his favour). His stop-start Hull career has been something of a disappointment.
I hope he's back for the Huddersfield game and can put together a run of form. He seems popular and a positive influence in the squad and he always speaks highly of the club and the fans when he's on Aussie radio.

I think it would be fair to say there are a few players in that situation too of hardly stringing a run of games together over a fair amount of time.

| Yes, I agree we have a few players who need to start delivering.
Several gave come off long term injuries. Now we are a few games into the season and as they get a few games under the belt, their confidence should return.
Coupled with some brighter weather, we should really be kicking on from the Wigan game. All players (except Taylor) should be back by then, so no excuses for not putting in a performance, especially those hoping for a contract extension.

As i said previously, he won't be here next season. New 6 from Cas coming in next season.

Don't think Trueman is the answer to our prayers. He's been pretty poor for the last 2 seasons.
Plus I'm not a fan of his COVID stance.

I hope it’s not Trueman as he’s been pretty poor and also misses a lot of games due to back issues.
If we are to be serious challengers then no offence to Trueman but we have to do better than him as halfback signing

I'd rather us not get into a bidding war with wire and Leeds over him either.
Over inflated salaries is what's got us in this mess.
