| Why not throw them in now, lose next two and it's going to be hard to make play off semi, win both and Wire could lose both and it's game on.

Agree tonight's result is key, another Warrington win and regardless of what we do its getting more and more unlikely we'd make the Top4.
A win for Rovers would also help the crowd next week and income for the club...can't bring myself to cheer for that lot though!

| Tonights results make it harder but the fat lady hasn't sung yet. I would be very disappointed if Hull approached any their upcoming fixtures with a view to not trying their very best to win. If nothing else a weak finish is bad for pass sales.

Very much agree on the last point. At least compared to 2015 we have a few players on the horizon to come back in the coming weeks, hopefully everyone bar Connor and Bowden. Expectations have been raised so important we continue to show the effort that's been put in most weeks this year.

| Jim Carey in dumb and dumber
“So you’re saying there’s a chance “
Beat Wakey and Rovers and we have more than a chance
Cas or Wire could slip
Please no more talk of why we cant win
Let’s aggressively fight all fire with fireball and let’s win on Sunday or else I’ll be playing funnel nuts on me own

Shoulder charge is banned so can't see us being able to use a fireball.

| Basically its win tomorrow or we face the most pointless derby of the SL era and a very long summer.
Still not a fan of this league format, while there is always teams with nothing to play for in any format, this early split seems to make it seem like the end of the road for for many teams far too early in the season. Under a normal league format we'd still be in the top6/8 and be fancying our Playoff chances when we get players back, while Rovers wouldent be getting a points reset and would still be desperate to win next week to avoid relegation.

| Win the next 2, which is feasable, if we play in the same fashion as the Saints game, then we finish on 26 points, only 3 behind Warrington, who I can’t see getting a result at Saints. It’s still on. Warrington are also involved in the CC semifinals so they could well drop points before and after thier game. An added bonus could be they get to the final which will put even more pressure on them, so who knows. Sorry to be so upbeat, I know it’s unusual for an FC diehard on here

If we can hang on to 5th and assuming Wigan defeat Catalans at home next week we'd have Saints, Warrington and Cas away and Wigan at home (other fixtures a bit hard to call). We'd obviously have to beat Warrington so we could do with a bit of luck with the schedule of Super 8 games. Warrington winning the Cup and us playing them the following week would be good.

Not to mention a team that is desined to finish at least 6 points adrift from everyone else, who have been the worst team in the League all season and who should be down after the next round, might yet still survive and not be relegated by the vagaries of the stupid middle eight stuff
