I think they have the same sort of power consumption as standard lamps when run at full brightness (from the initial press releases) but last longer, have better light coverage and have instant on/off. You also don't get the flicker on TV that you get from lamps running at 50Hz.
I wonder if City pay £2k if they want to use the special lighting effects? |

It always makes me smile a bit when you study the media, because on another thread there is talk of Gwilym cheering on air when Rovers scrapped a last minute goal and then here we all are talking about a greats night of entertainment and a deal of innovation and a fantastic pre match at the KC and yet it commands around 3 lines in the mail while I just had a look at the Mail web site and a washed up rock star appears at Craven Park and gets a full story pictures the lot!!

Come on Wilf you're normally pretty clued up but dont associate a great music genre of ROCK to Andy Bell of the cheesy pop fame!!!!! Its nearly as bad a likening us to the noisy neighbours.
Got to admit though the Radio Humberside love in for Rovers this afternoon was actually cringeworthy and just shows how poor the RL Director is, talk about amateurish, how he still gets a gig there is a mystery. |
