It was bad enough trying to get through every day normal duties never mind playing......tough feckers, these lot.'" I've had a rib cartilage injury, did it playing golf a while back. Nothing you can do with them and to jab them up and play won't really have a detrimental effect on the injury. But as he has two now it must be about comfort generally for him as he must not be able to train with it, unless jabbed up of course. |

I can say with definitive experience that there are few players that are not carrying an injury from the first three weeks of a season and there will be more than one player "jabbed up" in each team... as kids get fitter, faster and bigger such is that the injuries will pile up
Then as the need to keep the wages on the pitch grows, then the jabs become more frequent
I have never gone for all this "we have lots of cover in all areas" rubbish coaches spout, my experience is that the rest of a squad is there "just in case" but not as replacements IF the glory boy can be gotten onto the field ..thats jenga im afraid

Not a fan of these jabbing up as it can cause problems for the player through rehab. But if it's needed it's needed. Bring back good old cheggers!
As with the cover in all places I don't buy it either. Likes of Logan and Lancaster look like fantastic prospects but I can't help but think that they would be dominated by rovers Kelly and mantalato on the flanks but as always it's a derby.

at present players would be looking to miss this one where at all possible so they cant be blamed for the kicking we will possibly get... then they cant be blamed, even radford is pulling a sickie
