Rest of the team picks itself though I would have Cunningham on the bench to spell Houghton even if it is for 10-15 each half.

We'll put Abdull on the bench and move either Sneyd or Pryce up to 9 when/if Houghton is rested.

Although I wouldn't be surprised to see 3 props or 2 and 2 second rowers on the bench, with Houghton doing 80. Against a big Hudds pack that may be the way to go.

If we're starting with Paea & Watts I'd go Feka, Bowden, Thompson & Whiting on the bench.

We should be leaving Sneyd and Pryce where they belong in the halves, anything else is just daft IMO

Its normally penalties galore for the first few games. If it is anything like last night it might not end up 13v13. I thought it was never a sending off last night.

I know whats the point of bringing a new rule, giving refs more power with yellow card (which i thought was a good change) then ref decides to use the red card for THAT! Disgraceful, should be dropped for next weeks fixtures, thought he put a massive dampener on Super Leagues opening night, luckily Widnes dug in and rescued it

Didn't think it was a red either. Didn't spoil the game completely though.

Just hoping that we were watching it enough to learn that there will be some odd decisions and that we don't need to help the refs to give penalties this year.
