I'm at work on the pilot boats tonight, not looking forward to it at all. The boat crews will be relieving through Grimsby and probably working out of there all night as the jetty at spurn will be unsafe due to the westerly winds.'"

I have no idea why the smily was there  according to Viking it was shut to high sided vehicles & then they came on and said completely shut. Least its moving now just hope its safe. |

Ferensway is closed between Anlaby Road and Beverley Road (heading northwards). From what I can tell there's been two accidents at each end. Traffic is slow heading out of town in the other direction.

It was shut for about an hour between 11.30 and 12.30. HDM, RH and BBC were all reporting it fully closed. |

lorry driver got killed up here this morning poor chap.his lorry got blown over onto 2 cars.terrible tragedy for his family,especialy at this time of year.
