I don't think they'll ever use Green on a Hull Jersey .

Now you mention it I remember the debate about this last year. Although I would like to point out that we have had kits with green on in the past.

Green? Never in Hull. I won't even wear green socks or a khaki jacket to matches.

Like both of Hendrix's shirts. Our black and white irregular hoops are one of the most recognized shirts the world over. That should be celebrated and exploited every year in either the home or alternative design. It's who we are. Pearson's new local pride philosophy should be reflected by our traditional shirts being utilized as often as possible. Didn't buy either shirt last year, won't this year either if they don't look like a Hull shirt.

Would like to see a white star on a black background for one of next year's 150th birthday designs, though.

I didn't know about the green thing till last year. Still wore a green hoody to some of the games though, nothing bad happened, off the pitch anyway.

Something to do with it being bad luck to wear green on a boat/ship/trawler, the link to Hull FC being the city's fishing heritage.
