| I have bought passes for the last 12 years in a row, and usually buy within the first few weeks of them being on sale.
At present I am not getting one for next year and the biggest factors that are affecting pass sales are the following IMO:
The amount of times the team just completely don't turn up for game and don't compete: I can accept that in a league where there is a salary cap you aren't going to win every week, I even enjoyed our defeat to Wigan at home as the standard of RL was so high from both teams. I have walked away from the KC feeling downbeat at having watched a gutless, uninterested performance from the team far too many times in recent years.
The amount of promises made by the board/owners that are continually not delivered: I can accept that the club is a business and that saying 'we are going to be mid-table' doesn't shift tickets, but the amount of hype at the end of last season in particular just sets the club up for a big fall.
The standard of SL in general going downhill: Not just HullFC at fault for this one, but the changes to the exchange rate & tax rules has meant fewer big name stars are coming over from Aus/NZ. This years playoffs have IMO been the weakest in SL so far, with only 1 good game (Leeds-Saints) 1 average game (Wigan-Hudds) and the rest have been awful fixtures played out to empty grounds. You get 3 'free' games by getting a pass and I could easily give the atmosphere and tensionless games against London, Wakefield, Widnes, Salford etc a miss.
Availability of tickets: Crowds have gone down, so its easier to get decent seats at the KC on the day, this season there has been empty seats near us in East stand reserved near the centre line all year, whereas in say 2007 when crowds were higher the East & South stands were selling out for big fixtures. It tempts you to pay on the day and take advantage of the £5 ticket deals. Even the derby isn't coming close to selling out now.
Amount Of TV Games: We are a club that likes to 'tease' the SKY schedulers, we like to pretend we have clicked and are on a run to the Grand Final for a few weeks, so SKY slot us in for a few TV games, we then play like a bunch of under8's that have just met...casual TV viewer is put of giving going to the game a try, loyal fans in the stands are left thinking why they didn't stay at home or down the pub.
Cost We are now in our 5th year of the economic downturn, and while some 'green shoots' may be appearing elsewhere, it'll takes years (if ever!) for Hull to recover. Also some (rightly or wrongly!) were funding themselves on credit cards and loans before the crash, which just isn't around anymore.

I'll get one but my enthusiasm is shot too bits at the min.
I can agree with this though. Can easily understand why a lot will think this way!!!
Personally I'd expect our passes to be down by a 1000ish come season start. Even in my small circle i have a few not renewing, get the impression they'll be sticking to their guns on it as well

| Maybe I'm paranoid but.......
I just don't believe the number of posters supporting the return of Judas.
Is this him & his mates trying to brainwash us that it is a good idea ?
Won't work with me, his sins against the club are unforgivable.
No No No..........................

| Unlike FC I have my plan sorted for next season. I am not renewing my passes ( I normally get 3 ). I am going to attend 6 matches of my choice, probably the better teams and not ones that are been televised. This way I am saving a few quid and " keeping my powder dry" for the following season should the experiment of Radders and Judas works!!!!!

| BIG, BIG mistake Mr Pearson just read some of the posts above, you are imposing a regime on us that many don't want, if you think my hard earned money was going to some one who did so much damage to our club, well think again.

That's your opinion. Everyone else has their own, as they're entitled to do.

Few are saying they will never be back. What I think the gist of this all is, that most will start to pick and choose games. There will be a fluctuation between 11000 gates and possibly as low as 7500 depending on the opposition next year.
Cooke is an emotive subject and many of us will never forget or forgive. He left us totally in the mire from which we have never escaped.
Whilst your opinion is valid and you are entitled to it, you also have to accept that some will not feel the same as you and their opinion is equally valid. Mr Pearson will be sitting in his office today (or should be) and these opinions are what he should be considering. Does he gamble and run with people who share your view point or does he listen to the other view point and act accordingly.
My thoughts have always been that owners, players, coaches etc come and go, but the hardcore fans stick around. By hardcore I mean those who will not totally walk away. I would estimate there are only about 4000 of those. Its the other 6000+ that will waver and all have their breaking point. For some Cooke may well be the breaking point and you have to accept that.
The other consideration is that of the 4000 not everyone will be able to attend games every week. Thats for a variety of reasons. Some may be desperate to go but simply can't afford it.
So please accept that some have differeing views and its not all a crock.

| Just having Radford as head coach = no pass renewal
Just having Cooke back at my club = no pass renewal
Both of the above and AP has just thrown a double six!
